Black coffee more delicious with Jaja Laklak
Are you ready for a real adventure in paradise? Let's go to Bali and discover the best culinary tour in heaven.
If I go to the coffee shop I always order a cup of black
coffee (Kopi Tubruk). Usually, the shop keepers offer croissant, pastry or toast
with jam. I always hope the coffee shop also provides traditional snacks (Jajanan Pasar), Balinese, or Javanese.
I've found the traditional snacks in the East Coast,
Singapore, not far from Changgi and the Marine Parade. Traditional snacks in Singapore are
generally adopting traditional recipes from Indonesia, which is a recipe from
Java, Bali, or Sumatra. This tasty snack is made by the Peranakan (Chinese
descent).
If you are on holiday to Bali, be sure to buy the Jaja
Laklak. Balinese cakes are usually sold in the morning. If you are on holiday to Bali, be sure to buy the Jaja
Laklak. Balinese cakes are usually sold in the morning. I highly recommend Pisang Rai (Banana cake)
and Jaja Bantal if you drink coffee in Bali.
You can ask the hotel staff or tour guides to show the place.
Vacationing in Indonesia or other exotic regions would
have been more fun if you are also venturing in traditional markets to try
traditional local food. Asia is rich with a variety of traditional food and
drink. In Singapore, you can try toast sprinkled with serikaya jam (kaya toast)
plus a cup of coffee milk, even coffee with Kaya toast and poached egg. The
morning is a good time enjoying this Peranakan dishes at the coffee shop known
as Kopi Tiam. Dish-style coffee Kopi Tiam also you can find in various malls in
Jakarta
